Terms and Conditions

Collection and Delivery- Ironing Service

If possible, please ring to book a collection or to arrange a ‘drop off’ time.

This will ensure a 24hrs turnaround service. Customers are welcome to drop off laundry

at the shop at any time, however this does not always guarantee a 24hrs service. 

* Collection and delivery to Carluke is free, with a £1.50 charge per trip to other areas.

 If you are unavailable on the agreed day, for collection or return, a charge of £1.50 per additional trip will be made.

 Deliveries are made Monday – Friday between the hours of 1730hrs – 2030hrs.

*Free delivery service is available for 20 items or more.

Service

Shirts, trousers, dresses, skirts & most tops are returned on hangers with protective covers that are supplied free of charge.

All other items are folded and placed in protective covers.

Flat items will be packed in your own personal laundry bag.

 All Hangers provided, must be returned with the next service.

Payment

We accept Cash or cheque, and provide an itemised receipt for your records. Payment is due on return of ironing.

 Most major credit / debit cards are accepted in the shop.

There is a minimum order charge of £8.50 for shop collections.

Peace of mind

Ironing will be serviced in a strict no-smoking environment.

 In the unlikely event of any garments being damaged; you will be compensated to a maximum of £50 per item.

Any iron damaged or shiny items you include with your load will be returned unironed to avoid any misunderstanding regarding liability.

 It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure you do not include any item for ironing that carries a ‘non-iron’ symbol.
